There is no such thing as “just praying.”
Prayer matters. Prayer touches and moves the heart of God. Prayers of faith change us from the inside and out, and they align our hearts with God’s stated objective of “on earth as it is in heaven.”
Persistent, effective, fervent prayer avails much.
Prayer is simply having a conversation with God. Like all good conversations, that involves both talking and listening. Each of us has direct access to God, and we always have His full attention. So, in all things talk to God – and season your conversations with regular doses of thankfulness and thanksgivng.
At Impact, we encourage everyone to cultivate a personal relationship with God that includes regular prayer. We also offer a wide variety of ways to come alongside each other in prayer:
Fill out a yellow request form on the table in our foyer/coffee shop, and someone will call and pray with you about your request over the phone.
