Fire and Arrows: Open Your Hands and Lift Your Eyes

In the recent days the number 222 has shown up for me EVERYWHERE. Usually this is how I know the Spirit is trying to say something. Looking up 222 in Strong’s Concordance, it corresponds to Uriel, a name, meaning “flame of God”. Beside it, it says, “Two Israelites” (and goes on to explain the two Biblical individuals bearing this name).

Immediately it made sense. On this last Pentecost weekend, the Lord sent the FLAME OF GOD on His children – especially those who feel like they have never felt Him before or those who are HUNGRY for more. This is especially powerful as His people come together. I felt the Lord saying that the “two Israelites” signified Kingdom pairs. That the Lord would be moving and aligning powerful friendships, mentorships, romantic partnerships, and even business alliances to accomplish His purposes for this season. So be looking for who the Lord is consistently bringing up in your life. These may be unlikely or unexpected alliances or even ones that you had given up on happening.

At church this last Sunday, during worship I felt the Lord whisper to my heart, “Hold out your hands. I want to fill them.”

I held my hands cupped in front of me. I began to physically feel a warmth running through me and thought of the fire of the Lord. Right then a woman at church laid hands on me and said in my ear, “The Lord says open your hands. Open them wide—as wide as you can—because that’s how much I want to fill them!”

I feel like this is a corporate word for the weary and hopeless to open your spiritual hands as big as you can to receive from your Father God who has many things to give you!

As worship progressed I kept feeling the urging of the Spirit to move from the front of the church to the balcony. I obeyed and waited for whatever the Lord would say or do. As I waited I noticed six GIANT arrows hanging from the sanctuary ceiling that were too high to notice from where I had stood before. I felt the Lord say, “Until you view your situation from My higher ground you cannot see the arrows I am sending at your enemies. I am fighting your battles even as you can’t see. I am launching arrows at the things that have broken your heart, kept your down in fear, or battled your breakthrough. You may not see, but they are being launched on your behalf far above where you can see. Help is coming.”
