…let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles…Hebrews 12:1

Now is the time to make these choices. Choosing to allow hindrances and sin to remain active parts of our daily lives weighs us down and takes a toll on us. They rob us of healthy motivation and perseverance, and they keep us mired down in the same old familiarity. Make the courageous choice to throw them off. Reject them as your “normal.” Stop trying to manage sin; master it. Step out of the old into the new, and out of bondage into freedom.
