Encouragement

100 Words | June 1

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Be willing to do menial work. Do not be conceited.Romans 12:16

Harmony is precious. Pride, grounded in blindness and selfishness, is one of the great relational disruptors. It is an ever-present foe to be mastered. Mastering pride is the fruit of several practical choices. Choose to meet every person on level ground. Start with the idea: ‘Different is not wrong; different is just different.’ Then, whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as unto the Lord.
