Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.Romans 12:11-13
Zeal is important aspect of abundant life. Living our lives submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and as a child of God who gets to serve His purposes, creates a sustained focus for pursuing relationship with God. Then, as life happens, faith grows and sustains us in every situation, and it keeps us from shrinking our lives down to just meeting our own needs.
