Holy Places

For the Holy of holies
there are no in-between times.
He is in the ditches, on the sidewalks,
in the offices, in the classrooms.
There is no lag, no buffering, no hesitation in His love.
There is no hesitation in His love.

In the Holy of holies
there is no deception, no insincerity.
He is in the mystery and wonder and awe,
but He is not for confusion, discord, dissonance, or dismay.
His love is genuine. He is faithful to His promises.
He is the God of wisdom and discernment.

For the Holy of holies
there are no blindspots, no mislaid pieces.
There is no soul He does not love.
There is not a soul He did not die for.
The Holy of holies, He surrendered to death
and then He destroyed it
for the sake of every wayward soul.
Selfless, humble, all-powerful is the Holy of holies.

Emmanuel – God with us.
Messiah – calling us out of bondage and into Kingdom life.
King-Shepherd. Caretaker. Redeemer.
Holy of holies – tore the veil to make Himself known to us.
