Prepare yourself for the things you’ve only dreamed of
Early this morning I woke up. The time on the clock was 6:33.
In this dream I was with my father at a large barn or storehouse. Inside there were a lot of old things. My father was clearing out the old things that needed to be discarded to make room for what we would be building. From the ground floor there were stairs leading to an upper loft. I knew that I wanted to go up into the loft to search for things that still had value.
I asked my father not to discard anything until I could find the things that were still of value. He agreed. I felt so much excitement at the adventure of searching out the hidden treasures in the upper loft.
I feel like the Lord is emphasizing a clearing out of old mindsets and memories that clutter the space around us that He wants to fill with new ideas and creative expression. He is emphasizing the importance of seeking out the things of the Kingdom.
As I was writing out this dream I went into a vision:
Way back in the back of the upper room is an old trunk covered with dust. The trunk itself is carved from fine wood and has beautiful ornate gold handles. When I opened the trunk there were many mantles that had been folded and carefully preserved.
The mantles had been used and then carefully set aside for the ones that would be willing to wear them.
The Lord says, “It is time to call up the ones I have set aside for this time. Take them out, dust them off and display them for the righteous ones. They will come. It is time. Prepare yourself for the things you’ve only dreamed of.”
Go and seek the Lord. If this word excites you; if you are one that realizes as you read this that He has set aside a mantle that only you can wear, seek Him out and ask for the mantle he has set aside for you. Are you willing? He will not withhold this from you. He is calling. He has opened the door. He is asking you to step into your calling.
