Living with Anticipation
We serve a mighty God. A God who loves not just the righteous, but the unrighteous. We serve a God who is just as concerned about my happiness as He is about pulling someone out of the deepest, darkest place. We serve a God who weeps when we weep and laughs when we laugh. We serve a God who has breathed destiny into every human on the planet whether or not they understand or embrace Him…yet.
What kind of planet will our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren inherit? What do they have to look forward to? When we look into the face of God, we will see that there is always hope, always love, always acceptance and always a way.
A few years ago, I had a dream filled with hope for the future. I asked the Lord what to do with it and He said, “Watch and pray.” I am watching it unfold before my eyes.
I will not stand down. This is my life. This is my world. I will stand for what is right and good and loving, and I will worship my God.
Never underestimate God. Watch and pray. Do not fear. Pray with hope, thanksgiving and expectancy. Declare the mighty works of God in your life, the lives of your children, your home, your neighborhood, region, and the world. Search out the good news that is happening all around us every day. Focus on the positive, and anticipate a miracle.
The Scriptures say we are to humble ourselves and pray. Humility is not believing that we are nothing; instead, humility is knowing we are everything that God has made us to be through Him, in Him and with Him.
